2. Who We AreSelects is a client portal and photo delivery platform designed for photographers. It enables photographers ("Users") to manage projects, contracts, invoices, file delivery, and client communication in one place.For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Selects is the data controller in respect of personal data collected through the Service.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
5. Payments and StripeAll payment processing on Selects is handled by Stripe, Inc. When you or your clients submit payment information, that information is transmitted directly to and processed by Stripe. Selects does not store, access, or process raw payment card data.Stripe acts as an independent data controller in respect of payment data. Their privacy practices are governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.We use Stripe Connect to route payments directly to photographer bank accounts. By connecting your Stripe account to Selects, you authorise us to initiate payouts on your behalf in accordance with your delivery settings.
6. How We Share Your InformationWe do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with:
6.1 Service providersWe work with trusted third-party service providers who process data on our behalf, including hosting providers, analytics services, and email delivery services. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.
6.2 StripeAs described in Section 5, payment data is shared with Stripe for transaction processing.
6.3 Your clientsInformation you include in contracts, galleries, and project communications is shared with the clients you designate. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate permission to share any content you upload to the Service.
6.4 Legal requirementsWe may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
7. Data RetentionWe retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes (for example, financial transaction records).Your clients' data (such as signed contracts and payment records) is retained for the duration of your account and for the period required by applicable law thereafter.
