There's a moment most photographers know well. You've done the shoot. The hard part, the early call time, the client wrangling, the careful editing is done. And now you're stuck in the unglamorous aftermath: hunting for the right file-sharing link, copy-pasting invoice numbers, chasing a payment, and trying to remember which version of the gallery you actually sent. It's not why you picked up a camera.
We built Selects because we kept running into that same wall. Photography is a craft. Client delivery shouldn't feel like a second job.
So, what is Selects?
Selects is a platform for photographers who want a cleaner, simpler way to deliver their work and get paid for it. One link. One experience. Your client previews watermarked images, reviews the invoice, pays, and downloads, all without you having to stitch together three different tools to make it happen.
No more "did you get my WeTransfer?" Just a single, professional link that does everything it needs to do.
Who is it for?
Selects is built for working photographers. Freelancers, commercial shooters, portrait photographers, editorial creatives, anyone who delivers digital files to clients and wants to look professional doing it. If you've ever sent a gallery link in one email and an invoice in another and a payment request in a third, this is for you.
Why does it matter?
The tools photographers use to run their businesses haven't kept pace with the quality of their work. You can edit in Lightroom, shoot tethered on a set, and colour grade on a calibrated screen, but then send your client a Google Drive folder and a PayPal link. There's a gap there. Selects is our attempt to close it.
Where we are right now
We're building. Selects is currently in beta, and we're talking to photographers throughout the process.
If you shoot professionally and you're tired of the friction in your delivery workflow, we want to hear from you. What's broken? What do you wish worked differently? What would make you trust a new tool with your client relationships?
Come build this with us
This blog will be where we share what we're learning, what we're building, and why. If that sounds like something worth following, stick around.
And if you want to be part of the beta, start here.
